From research to real life.
Research is only valuable when it translates into real change in your daily life. At Body Mind Connect we bridge the gap between scientific evidence and practical application, transforming complex psychological research into accessible tools for you to use day-to-day.

Get direction in your journey.
For chronic conditions
Are you dealing with navigating complex health care systems, managing flare-ups, dealing with symptoms and generally struggling with ongoing health challenges? Our membership provides evidence-based strategies to help you manage the mental and physical feelings that come with chronic health challenges, helping you to understand and work hand-in-hand with your body and mind.
For periods of struggle and loss of direction
Life changes, burnout and mood shifts can physically and mentally deplete you leaving you feeling a lack of direction or purpose. Body Mind Connect works with you where you are at, based on the capacity you have, because we know you can't pour from an empty cup. We will support you to reconnect with yourself, at your own pace.
For pelvic, gynae and bladder issues
Intimate health challenges can feel like a mystery, and with a lack of expertise in tradition healthcare you can feel like it's hard to understand what is happening when experiencing symptoms. Our programme allows you to learn about what is happening, update the brain and bladder connection, and improve your symptom experiences.
For IBS and gut issues
Experiencing cramps, concerns about bowel health, urgency and other gut symptoms is debilitating. The worry it causes feeds into the gut regulation, causing more frustration and isolation. We will work with you where your gut is currently at, working to improve the powerful gut-brain connection. Our approach combines psychological techniques with practical lifestyle adjustments to improve physical and emotional symptoms.

The membership in a nutshell.

Weekly workshops
Our workshops are led by Dr Sula Windgassen each Wednesday evening, providing a mix of exploring the mind body science, practicing skills, reflecting and exploring and problem solving challenges. These sessions are shaped by what our members want to focus on. Additional fortnightly workshops are run on Thursday mornings by our community manager and trainee health psychologist.

Rich content library
You will have access to an extensive collection of guided audios, videos, workbooks, worksheets, trackers, and journal prompts, which are all designed to help you practice and progress whether you're online or offline. The library also features interactive quizzes and specialised journaling sections that encourage meaningful reflection, helping you track your progress and deepen your understanding.

Supportive community
Our members report that the community is where they finally feel seen and heard, realising their struggles aren't just a "me problem." Research confirms that supportive communities significantly impact healing, which is why BMC facilitates a 24/7 access via Slack, buddy groups, and a safe space where members find the connection that many are experiencing for the first time in their health journey.

Self-paced programme
BMC offers a self-paced programme - you can be led step by step by using the guided ‘my journey’ programme that helps you structure your practices, or you can dive straight in and explore topic by topic across Body, Mind and Connect. If you want guidance on where to start, we can help you get started. This journey can be taken at whatever pace you feel comfortable with, it is there to support you and not add more pressure.

I so appreciate this group for being able to share things like this knowing that you all completely understand how frustrating it is. Thank you"
"It was nice knowing I wasn't alone and that I had been able to share how I was feeling with you guys and to have your support. "
The fact that it is all evidence based for me is so important. The depth of knowledge that Sula has both personally and professionally makes this a unique platform."
